The MNZ Maribor is the newest Football Association to embrace Sport.Video technology in their broadcasting and communication strategies. Founded in 1928, is currently working with 44 clubs, their teams and more than 9500 players. Promoting youth football, providing conditions for a comprehensive presence of football in all generations and focusing on the development are the main purposes of the association.
"In order to promote social responsibility and quality leisure time in our activities and events, we emphasize work habits, sports-ethical values and sustainable orientation, thus striving to ensure optimal and healthy sports development for young people. At work, we not only strive to strengthen the motoric skills of children, but also teach them appropriate sportsmanship and instilling positive values such as respect, honesty & responsible attitudes." explained Dejan Germič, President of MNZ Maribor.
Sport.Video technology was described by Dejan as a quick and fairly easy to use tool to launch important matches and events via the website to the targeted and interested audience. He continued saying that is an affordable product for the range of useful functions provided by the technology and a good quality image for the amateur and semi-pro user.
"We believe that we can gain a lot by using Sport.Video technology." he proceed; "In addition to increasing visibility, planning the branding of the Maribor FA, and increasing the availability of information of events (matches), the technology will allow the association and our members to launch their own products through modern digital networks to a wider audience. At the same time, we believe that Sport.Video will open additional opportunities for obtaining new sponsorships or sponsors for the operation of the Association and Clubs."

Dejan finished highlighting how important will be the technology integration for the growth of the federation and sports community in the region. "Sport.Video technology will help us to further connect to the clubs, supporters and partners of the association, as it will also be extremely important for creating a recognizable brand. Given the size of our area, we believe that will be able to develop a very successful regional sports marketing system in the long run. We want to share our knowledge and connections with other sports, and together with the Sport.Video project we are engaging with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer and the Faculty of Economics and Business in Maribor."
"We are extremely thrilled to partner up with Maribor FA, the 2nd biggest regional football federation in Slovenia", added Martin Cano, Managing Director at Sport.Video. "Together we will provide the audience an unique video solution and possibility to follow, watch and share more than 1500 games per year including youth and women competitions. Beside of real-time highlights and in-built broadcast platform, the FA will use Sport.Video as a new communication tool and marketplace for activation of sponsors and partners. This will lead to increase the revenues from digital advertising and sponsorship. We are more than happy to let our partners earn money with the platform!"
MNZ Maribor events and matches will start in the middle of August, make sure you don't miss any action!
